Dr. Alok Saharan, MD

Dr. Alok Saharan serves as the Medical Director and Psychiatrist at Hillside Wellness Center. He brings more  than 25 years of experience in mental health and behavioral healthcare, with clinical expertise across adult  psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, ECT, dual diagnosis  treatment, and residential mental health care. Dr. Saharan graduated from King George’s Medical College in  Lucknow, India, completed psychiatry training in India and the United Kingdom, and later completed a  psychiatry residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. His credentials include board  certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as board certification through the  American Board of Preventive Medicine with a subspecialty in Addiction Medicine. At Hillside, Dr. Saharan  provides psychiatric leadership, medication management oversight, and clinical collaboration to support  individualized, whole-person care for clients with complex mental health and co-occurring needs.
